Lovely combination of vintage beads,amulets,vintage coin amulets,hand embroider techniques and fabric embroidery.
This is the first time i am looking at a choker like this one.Sits right on the neck and closes with a tie closure. After all those heavy pieces popular in Afghan jewelry this is a lighter one.Embellished with vintage beads and vintage jewelry components.
Embroider and beaded by the tribal women manually.
I love having pieces made of vintage coins and amulets. This one is probably made by using different components.
The metallic disc beads are consistent and look like they belong to one piece of jewelry.
The traditional bead embroidery is used on the sides of the choker in white and red beads as a trim.
The total length is 16" approx- Sits right on the neck
